STORY TASK JUANITO IN A NEW WORLD
Juanito is a boy from Cuba, who has just arrived to the United States a few days ago with his family, whose English is not good at all. Even Juanito doesn't know any sort of word or tense. His speaking isn't clear when he tries to communicate with his neighbors or the people whom Juanito comes across with in his every day.
From time to time Juanito played with his big black-haired dog, carried alongside them from Cuba to the United States too. Since his arrival Juanito had not made any friend outside of home, because his limitations with the language were such a big problem. So he limited himself just by playing with his dog "Pepito".
One day while playing, Pepito got lost and Juanito got really down. His parents worked all the whole day so they couldn't help him out, so that Juanito adventured on his own in the wide New York streets. At first he was blown away by the huge buildings, skyscrapers and the busy sidewalk full of people, coming up and down. Juanito decided to aventure through the people without thinking about the consequences of his actions. People looked really huge to him. While walking he found right a Latin town on the left, so he felt really happy to talk with those people in there. He entered to one restaurant and asked for help, then a waiter helped him by turning the message he had in Spanish on a sheet of paper into English. "Have you seen a big black hairy dog?" it said.
He went out and continued walking. Hours passed and finally he got to a lonely green area, where none walked across it. He was determined himself to go across it. It was too dark, he walked through the hill, but right on the left and right there were trees and trees; suddenly he fell into a big hole right in front of him. His ankle was a little bit injured. The day turned into night. Juanito was angry, alone and scared, but suddenly he heard a noise, right away. It was getting close to him, when he saw it was a slim blond boy. Then, he greeted him and offered his help to Juanito, who quickly accepted it, and was taken to the ground again. Juanito was ashamed because of his lack of English, but then the other boy started communicating by body language. Then, he pointed to himself and said "Me Luca" and you? Juanito did the same, pointed to himself and said "Juanito".
Luca saw the paper he has holding tightly in his hand, and read its message. Oh! How is your dog? moving his hands, making many figures and pointing at the paper he had in his hand. Then, Juanito lifted up a black rock and pointed to it. then, he stretched his arms as far as he could. And finally he made his hair a mess; Luca guessed, "It's an enormous black-haired dog, isn't it?"
"I want to see it," he said. Then, they started looking for him. While walking they went across the different towns. New kids joined them because in every description Juanito gave about his dog made his dog seem more and more interesting to them.
Finally the crew was conformed by a Chinese, an Italian, a French and Luca the American boy. They got around the city and it was at night, they were really afraid and tired, so they opted for heading out to their homes, but a police officer riding a horse bumped into them.
They asked him if he had seen Juanito's dog. They acted and described the dog's features: Size, hair color, the way he walked, eye size, among many other things. Then, the police officer pulled the dog just right in front of them and asked: " Is this your dog?" Juanito replied "SI!. Te extrañe mucho mi perrito," he said. All his new friends couldn't hold their tears back, it was a real joy for them. They got back with Pepito singing and hopping on their feet. Since that day, Juanito has been playing almost every day with his new friends, and while playing he is also learning English. Even Pepito is learning how to understand it.

When
writing a story, you have to write in the same tense the whole way
through; for example, if you start writing in the present tense, you
have to stay in the present tense the whole time. The first paragraph of this story can be in present tense because it's kind of an introduction, but the story must be completely in the past.
AIN'T is not a word!
Blown away-- surprised, shocked, amazed
Capitalize ALL languages
"Black-haired" can be used as an adjective
