Analysing A Device "Describing its Main Features"

You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.
The diagram below shows the production of steam using a gas cooled nuclear reactor.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Write at least 150 words.

A gas cooled nuclear reactor has a reactor ad a heat excharger which treat the gas through a cycle that involves both devices. The reactor contains the uranium fuel elements, all of which are surrounded by graphite moderators, on top there are the charge tubes for loading elements and boron control rods. The reactor is hosted into a pressure vessel and protected by a concreted radiation shielding. 67

On the right, there's the heat exchanger whose hot gas duct connects internally with the reactor  allowing the gas go through both,There's a pipe on the bottom which brings in water that goes upward and is heated to steam, on top it flows out of the turbo alternator Whilst the hot gas sinks to the bottom where is cooled by the gas blower that send it to the reactor again.

As can be observed this is a constant cycle whose main objective is to keep the reactor cool by sending away the steam and the heat and cooling the gas.
