The name of the special occasion is the secret friend's day, this special occasion is held the fourteenth of september. This date is used to demostrate how much special our friends and closets people are for us, By gifting them with candies, teddies and letters and also behaving well, This occurs just in my country "Colombia", the games methodologic is basic, we pick up a little sheet of paper in a bag which contains the name of the person who will be our secret friend during the 14 days. The aim of the game is not to be discovered by the person we have chosen, so we send our presents through another person, and also we deliver the presents to other people.
The day we give the final present, we all gather together in at party or a normal reunion in broad daylight if we don't have a big party, there we name our secret friend in front of everybody, we give and receive the present. We often dance, sing karaoke, drink and eat something prepared by us.
My favourite thing about this day is the fact that we forget all the misunderstandings we have with some people, and we start again without resentment and envy. So we leave all those bad and negative things behind.
